ON BOARD! trainings are one-day seminars held twice each year. Nonprofit board members and staff members receive an in-depth overview of the roles and legal responsibilities of nonprofit boards.

The Leadership Institute of Northern Virginia’s ON BOARD! trainings are designed to provide a basic set of relevant tools and skills to nonprofits and their boards. The program aims to educate both nonprofit board members and prospective board members on the basic roles and responsibilities of serving on a nonprofit board. ON BOARD!’s mission is to create capacity amongst Northern Virginia nonprofits through the education and high-level professional training of nonprofit board members.
