This year's topic will address mental illness in the workplace and its impact on the employer and their workforce. What is the scope and breadth of this issue, and why should mental illness be important to employers and our community? A panel of experts who represent human resources as well as the mental health field will address the legal, ethical, moral and financial implications for the employer. The panel will also address the rights and responsibilities of employees, whether the issue is directly affecting them or their families. Finally, the program will address the implications of Health Care Reform and the impact of Mental Health Parity.
