Leadership Arlington's mission is to develop trained leaders who are committed to building and strengthening the community. Initiated by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce in 1998, our organization is designed to foster a sense of community, partnership, and collaboration that will motivate participants to become involved in Arlington's future. Each member participates in an annual program, which meets monthly from September to May. Arlington leaders from the business, non-profit and public sectors convene in a day long forum where they can experience issues and opportunities facing Arlington, and discuss possible solutions. The program creates an infrastructure that will insure an ongoing source of trained leaders in our community by focusing on the application of leadership skills in a unique environment. After participation in the annual program, the member is offered a variety of community opportunities. Whether you chose to serve on a community board, continue your leadership development, develop your connections in the community - or all of the above - you will find your experience valuable to you personally, and to your organization. Leadership Arlington plays a critical role in Arlington's future. Since our founding, the members of Leadership Arlington are already making a strong contribution to the fabric of our community.
