Program Structure

The Young Professionals Program is an initiative of the Leadership Center for Excellence, powered by Leadership Arlington, which invests in high-potential leaders in the DC Metropolitan area. This program provides the opportunity to develop new professional skills and capacities, while also acquiring the tools, visibility and network necessary to engage in their broader community. Participants are encouraged to discover ways they may give back to our community as we cultivate this next generation of leaders to become a force in our region.

Offered twice annually in the Fall or Spring, this four-month long program meets on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays. Participants engage in sessions designed to enhance self-awareness and leadership presence, work with and lead teams and strengthen networking skills. Throughout the program, members will create meaningful relationships with their peers and dynamic regional leaders that will allow them to expand their leadership footprint in the region.

This is a tuition-based program. Tuition for the Young Professionals Program is $2,000. Tuition covers all program costs, including food, transportation and staff time.
